Barbara Kreisman PhD

Barbara’s early career was as an organizational development leader in the high-tech arena—including Dell Technologies and other large companies. She earned a PhD at the University of Texas Austin at age 52, after which she became Associate Dean of the Daniels College of Business. Barbara currently serves on the Colorado Commission on Aging and coordinates a Wise Women’s forum via the Institute for Healthy Aging at the University of Denver, where she and her husband Scott McLagan are both Board Members and Emeritus Professors. Barbara is a member of the International Women’s Leadership Forum of Colorado, a co-facilitator at Modern Elder Academy and is a certified caregiver (Hospice) with her two Golden Retrievers.

Beth Buelow

Beth Buelow is a Professional Certified Coach, Certified Mentor Coach, author of “The Introvert Entrepreneur: Amplify Your Strengths and Create Success on Your Own Terms.” speaker, mediator, and facilitator with 18 years of coaching and consulting experience. Beth received her initial coach training and mentor coaching training through inviteChange. Since 2022, she has served as Adjunct Faculty for George Mason University’s Leadership Coaching for Organizational Well-Being program and has served as a mentor coach since 2020. Beth has presented on coaching ethics and ICF Core Competencies at ICF chapters across the United States, as well as ICF Converge Conferences in 2017 and 2023. In addition to coaching, Beth hosts a photography podcast and facilitates a Creativity Mastermind program through the Nature Photography Collective. She is primarily known for her nature and architectural abstract photography.

Chris Hitch

Chris Hitch brings more than 35 years of experience in line and staff leadership across public education, private sector business, and government service. He’s designed and delivered strategy, innovation, and leadership workshops for more than 8,800 aspiring, emerging, and operational leaders nationwide. He’s directed public and private-sector executive development programs at UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. Chris co-founded the LDR Group, a boutique management education firm focused on strategy, leadership, and innovation. He currently teaches MBA students at NC State’s Poole College of Management. A former school principal, basketball official, and Eagle Scout, Chris holds a PhD from UNC-Chapel Hill. He readily admits to multiple “Forrest Gump moments” along the way and considers himself exceptionally lucky. He and his wife of over 40 years have two adult children and four grandchildren.

Marni Blank

Marni Blank is a lawyer turned end-of-life doula, mediator, and after loss consultant. She founded Begin With The End to help individuals and families prepare for and move through the emotional and logistical realities of death and grief—from completing end-of-life plans and navigating family dynamics to creating legacy projects and managing the administrative tasks that follow a loss.

Veronica McCain

Veronica McCain is a Certified Retirement Coach, Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor, and the author of My Retirement, My Way. She is the founder of Savvy Retirement Living and the creator of the My Retirement, My Way Premier Coaching Experience, where she guides clients through the transition from work to retirement with clarity, confidence, and intention. Veronica is building her retirement coaching niche around experience-based transformation. The Savvy Retirement Sisters Cruise is the first initiative in this direction, where she combines her love for travel with coaching to foster connection and spark self-discovery. She is planning future curated experiences designed to support women in building a purposeful and joyful retirement.

Kelly Ottman, PhD

Dr. C. Kelly Ottman is an executive coach and consultant, scholar, and award-winning professor with more than 25 years of experience developing leaders. A former healthcare executive, she brings expertise grounded in a prestigious two-year executive development fellowship and a PhD in Organizational Leadership and Adult Education. As an executive coach/consultant, Dr. Ottman partners with local, national, and global organizations, and boards. Her clients range widely—from Fortune 500 executives to executive steel leaders, and even executive nuns. She has extensive global experience, with a particular focus on Asia, especially China and India. With a passion for service, currently she is the volunteer Executive Leadership Coach Coordinator for the WE Empower UN SDG Challenge and the International Leadership Association. Emerging from the intersection of her coaching and academic work, Dr. Ottman recently completed a groundbreaking study on executives and the transition to retirement.

Michael Kay

Michael F. Kay is a retired CFP® and firm founder. After transferring ownership to his younger partner, Michael turned his attention to the creation of a community of high achieving men, Chapter X. His work includes a weekly podcast by the same name, a blog, and a monthly Zoom get together. Michael became a Certified Life Coach from Human Potential Institude and the Tiny Habits Academy and works with men transitioning to their next chapter. Michael devotes his time to speaking, writing, coaching, volunteering and a wide array of hobbies and interests, including his return to performing music after a fifty-year hiatus. He is married to Wendy, his college sweetheart. They have two children and three granddaughters. Time with family is among his greatest joy.

Robert Laura

Robert Laura is a pioneer in the psychology and social science of retirement and legacy planning. He is a seven-time best-selling author and is the founder of the Retirement Coaches Association, Certified Professional Retirement Coach Designation and Retirement Intelligence Assessment. His work has reached millions of readers through eight books, twelve guides, and over 900 articles. In addition to his own writings, he frequently appears in major business media outlets such as the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, CNBC, MarketWatch, the New York Times, and more. He is considered a leading authority and thought-leader on retirement wellness, psychology of retirement, legacy planning, and motivational longevity. Robert has been speaking and teaching financial and non-financial retirement and legacy based programs for over 25 years.
